Design systems help in improving UI consistency and quality, not just amongst other designers but developers as well, by providing clear guidance around design best practices. Over the years working across multiple projects and people (on-shore and off-shore) created numerous challenges. Rather than wasting time re-creating components and making sure they line up design systems and guides have created unity, harmony, and consistency across all touchpoints and help solve a number of complex and nuanced challenges.
